Catalonia Las Cortes is situated right in the centre of Madrid in an area called Las Letras in the city's famous old quarter. It's close to all the major attractions including Puerta del Sol, Plaza Santa Ana, the Prado Museam and Thyssen Bornemisza to name but a few. Shoppers can visit Puerta del Sol or Chueca and night-time revellers can enjoy a drink in Heurtas and La Latina, two main entertainment areas.

Nearest Underground: Three nearby metro connections are the Anton Martin and Sol stop on Line 1 (Light Blue) and Sevilla on Line 2 (Red), all of which are around 400 metres away.

Nearest Train Station: Atocha Station which is 1.6km away. To get to the hotel from here take metro Line 1 (Light Blue) as far as Anton Martin.

Nearest Airport: Barajas International Airport is the nearest airport, from here you can take a taxi or use the underground, but the best way is to take the shuttle bus to Velazquez/Serrano. Take the metro from Velazquez to Goya - Line 4 (Brown). From here change to Line 2 (Red) and travel to Sevilla where you can get off and walk to the hotel.

You can also take the underground Line 8 from the airport until Nuevos Ministerios metro station. From here take the Line 10 until Tribunal metro station and then change to the Line1 until Sol metro station.
